# positronic

> Persistent, polytemporal memory for AI agents. SQLite-backed, deterministic, auditable, local-first. Open source under AGPL-3.0-or-later OR Commercial; the sure-* UI stack is MIT-licensed.

positronic gives an agent a brain it can resume from. It is not a vector-store wrapper and not a summarization window: every event carries a time vector (wall-clock, monotonic arrival order, subjective tau, and a fuzzy interval), retention runs on survival curves rather than a TTL, and recall is deterministic — activate, reconstruct, decay, fuse. A brain is one plain SQLite file you can query with SELECT *.
